This initiative reflects the Trust’s increasing focus on innovation to improve patient care, services, and colleague experience.
It supports the NHS’s three key shifts (outlined in the Long Term Plan):
- bringing care closer to people’s homes and communities
- using digital technology to cut down on admin and make managing care as easy as online banking or shopping
- focusing more on prevention by supporting patients earlier and making healthy choices easier
All ideas should support at least one of the six core principles: safe, effective, timely, patient-centred, efficient, and equitable.
