Cancer Research

The Trust are very proud to offer patients throughout North Yorkshire some of the very latest research developments in cancer care and treatment.  With a depth of specialist knowledge of cancer treatment including chemotherapy support, early diagnosis and cancer support our research teams provide the highest standard of care to the research participants we look after.

With bases at Scarborough and York Hospitals our research includes some of the latest developments in chemotherapy, cancer detection, cancer support and cancer surgery.  This has included early phase research.  Working in collaboration with the Leeds Cancer Centre at St James Hospital we are also able to offer our patients the opportunity to participate in some of the latest, ground-breaking radiotherapy trials.
