About Us

Sexual Health & Communicable Diseases Research

This area of research focuses on improving the treatment and prevention of communicable transmitted infections such as HIV, Chlamydia or Hepatitis.  Our studies can also look at the support and wellbeing of patients accessing the service, including improving quality of life and mental health support.

Research within the Trust is conducted at the excellent YorSexualHealth Service who provide treatment and preventative care at clinics across North Yorkshire with specialist centres based in York, Harrogate and Scarborough as well as smaller sites throughout the region.

More information about the YorSexualHealth service is available here.
