Sexual Health Research
Sexual Health research focuses on improving the treatment and prevention of sexually transmitted infections as such as HIV, Chlamydia or Hepatitis.
Research within the Trust is conducted at the excellent YorSexualHealth Service who provide treatment and preventative care at clinics across North Yorkshire with specialist centres based in York and Scarborough as well as smaller sites throughout the region.
The team work in close collaboration with the University of York's Centre for Immunology and Infection and continually look to investigate the most innovative areas of research.
Key areas of interest: HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STI prevention, quality of life improvement
